September 3rd... put it in your calendars because that is my final treatment. Can you hear the sigh of relief??
My CA-125 is at 53 after four treatments and we will see what the next one brings right before my last treatment. I am doing well - resting and tinkering around the house trying to take care of Sean when I feel ok. I have been doing a little cooking this summer, venturing into mexican and asian foods, etc. It has been a peaceful time and I really appreciate the opportunity to focus on my health and nothing else.
My back to work date is October 5th and I am excited to see what I am doing next. I will be going into work next week to begin discussions on this topic. It is hard to believe that I will not have a team to go back to which makes me sad, but I am focusing on the future. Hopefully a future of good health and new adventures.
